Natalie Hope McDonald

Natalie Hope McDonald is a fine artist based in Philadelphia. She recently exhibited at James Oliver Gallery, introducing her “Boombox Series” and three-dimensional graffiti pieces, including an installation of a wooden house sawed into two pieces with a coded graffiti-style biography painted on its exterior. She’s worked with Mural Arts and the Streets Dept. to create a public art project to get out the vote during the 2022 election, and is preparing to create her first public mural with Mural Arts this year. Her work, including works on paper, paintings and new 3D pieces and wearable art can be found in private and corporate collections around the world. She was commissioned to create a portrait for Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson that now hangs in her Washington D.C. chambers, and regularly paints murals for public and private spaces throughout the country. Her murals have been featured in several museums, including the Museum of Glass in Tacoma, Wash., and the Liberty Museum in Philadelphia. Her work is also now part of the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s permanent collection.
