Join us this March at NoName Gallery for a hands-on pottery class focused on creating ceramic candle holders. This workshop is about slowing down, working with your hands, and making something useful and personal. No previous ceramics experience is needed.

Led by Lauren Stichter of Hymy Pottery, the class will introduce simple hand building techniques while allowing plenty of room for individual expression. You’ll shape, texture, and design your own candle holders, embracing the small imperfections that make handmade ceramics feel alive and intentional.

Working with clay has a way of bringing you into the present moment. The physical act of shaping something with your hands helps quiet the mental noise and creates a steady, focused rhythm. Many people find ceramics grounding in a way that’s hard to replicate—your attention stays with the material, and the outside world fades for a bit.
