Surface & Stamp is an intimate clay workshop focused on surface, texture, and quiet experimentation. Held in April—right as spring arrives—this class leans into the idea of renewal: slowing down, working with your hands, and letting small changes add up to something lasting.

Led by Lauren Stichter of Hymy Pottery, the workshop introduces a decorative clay technique that involves pressing tools, stamps, and textured objects into soft or leather-hard clay to create permanent patterns, designs, and surface texture. Rather than focusing on form alone, this class centers the surface as a place for expression—where repetition, pressure, and mark-making bring each piece to life.

Spring is a natural time to work this way.
